Support the Community’s Food Needs

Taking Root is going to be our non-profit venture in the New Haven and Hermann area which will aim to help struggling families by providing food, resources, and education. We want to positively impact families by providing fresh fruits and vegetables as they come in season. We also want to provide qualifying families with their own endless supply of farm-fresh eggs by providing a chicken or two and a coop. Finally, we hope to be able to educate the community through free classes, seminars, and demonstrations on gardening, food self-reliance, and the importance of local, healthy food options.

We want to impact as much of the community as possible and we hope to officially create Taking Root as a non-profit starting in the summer of 2024. We can’t wait!
